Frank C. Matthews (born July 13, 1972) is an African-American writer of urban fiction. His works are influenced by Iceberg Slim and Donald Goines. ==Biography== Author Frank Matthews is a native of Brooklyn, New York. Matthews categorizes his own work as "true fiction," fictional takes on factual events. Matthews self-published his first novel, ''Respect the Jux.'' Over 20,000 copies of the book were sold, leading to publisher Simon & Schuster releasing the book in September 2010.〔(Simon & Schuster Author Frank C. Matthews )〕 In September 2010, director F.
